My Story

Throughout my career, one theme has remained constant: people have sought me out when the decisions they faced truly mattered.

Whether advising executives, guiding organizations through change, designing governance frameworks, negotiating complex issues, or helping individuals navigate significant life and career transitions, I found myself asking the same question: **What is actually true, and what is the best path forward?**

For years, I described my work in many different ways—consulting, leadership, governance, mediation, strategy. While each captured part of what I do, none fully expressed the heart of my work. I eventually realized that what I have always provided is **strategic counsel for consequential decisions**.

My perspective has been shaped by an uncommon combination of experiences. I am a lawyer, sociologist, executive leader, governance researcher, mediator, educator, and international professional. I also have a background in theater, where I learned the power of presence, observation, communication, and understanding the human experience. Together with my training as a certified yoga breathing coach, I sometimes draw on these techniques to help clients slow down, become more present, reduce stress, and create the space needed for thoughtful discernment. These experiences have taught me to recognize patterns, understand people and organizations, ask meaningful questions, and bring clarity to situations that often feel uncertain or overwhelming.

More importantly, they have reinforced a deep respect for the responsibility that comes with advising others. Throughout my life, people have often told me that when I speak, they believe what I say. I have never taken that trust for granted. I believe trusted advice carries a profound responsibility, and I approach every client relationship with care, intellectual honesty, and genuine respect for the significance of the decisions they face.

Mission2Transition was founded on the belief that the quality of our lives, organizations, and institutions is shaped by the quality of the decisions we make. My role is not to tell clients what to do, but to help them discover what is true for them, align that truth with what matters most, design a practical path forward, and act with clarity and confidence.

If you are facing a decision that will shape your future, your organization, or the people you serve, I would be honored to help you navigate it with thoughtful discernment and purposeful action.
